Along the coast there are many areas with rocky outcroppings that can become their own little islands. Sometimes they are large, and sometimes small, but I often marvel at the trees and plants that grow in these places. They are strong and flexible and keep holding on to the rock no matter what storms come their way. They model something I aspire to be.
