One morning, before the sun had risen, my daughter and I set out for a special before-school Daddy / Daughter breakfast. It was clear, and the sun was still waiting to rise above the mountains. On the way to our favorite breakfast cafe, we stopped by a nearby farm field to enjoy the beauty and stillness that surrounded us. And in the midst of a busy world, it is good to be quiet and stand with your daughter and watch the day break.
