PAINTING MATERIALS
I keep my supplies pretty simple for Friday Night Live, so if you want to paint along, here's what I normally use:
Colors: If you have a white, yellow, red, blue & black, you will be able to follow along pretty well. The exact colors I use are below.
Canvas: I normally paint on a 12x16 canvas panel that I've toned black or something dark.
Brushes: My favorite brushes are Princeton Catalyst, and I use flats from #4 to #12 for the most part. I also have a round #2 that I will use occasionally.
Palette: This is one of the most important parts of my painting setup. I use the Masterson Sta-Wet Palette, and it is essential for being able to mix paints that can be used throughout the painting process without having them dry out.
NOTE: If you want to paint along with me, be aware that I usually tend to paint fairly fast, and it could be difficult to keep up. But don't worry, you can always go back to the video afterward to watch it again if you need to. I look forward to seeing you Friday night!
