From coastal scenes to heartland vistas, from urban centers to country lanes, Jed loves to paint the everyday beauty around him. Growing up in the Puget Sound north of Seattle surrounded by tall pine trees, mountains and water made it impossible to ignore the landscapes around him. After college in Salem, Oregon, he lived in one of the most picturesque cities in the world, Vancouver, BC, for ten years, where he also began his art career. The beauty of a large metropolitan area set against the ruggedness of the wilderness, plus the influence of different Canadian artists helped shape his direction in art. In more recent years, Jed has made the Midwest with its sweeping beauty his home. From there, he and his family travel regularly to other parts of the US and Canada, painting as they go.
Jed Dorsey works out of the Harrison Center for the Arts in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana and Sunnyshore Studio on Camano Island, WA. His artwork has been featured on HGTV and collected internationally. To learn more about Jed and how he paints, make sure to check out the About pages.

"Archival-Prints" are Museum-quality Fine-Art reproductions. Sometimes called "Giclee Prints", these artworks are made with an ultra-high-resolution fine-art printer, using the very finest archival inks and papers.
